Lagers
Lagers are typically fermented at lower temperatures than ales, and the yeast sinks to the bottom rather than floats at the top. Lagers are more recent in the history of brewing. There are several types of lagers. This list will help you distinguish one type from another, and you will see my ratings of different beers in each category.
